OzAsia Festival

OzAsia is Australia's leading festival of Asian arts and culture, staged at the Adelaide Festival Centre across about two and a half weeks from late October. The program brings contemporary theatre, dance, music and film from across Asia, much of it in Australian-exclusive seasons.

What to expect

The free Lucky Dumpling Market on the Riverbank runs nightly through the festival, and its lantern-lit food stalls have become an Adelaide spring tradition in their own right; attendances around 200,000 count both strands. The Moon Lantern Trail adds a large-scale free public art element. It is the most accessible doorway into the region's contemporary arts scene in the country.
