How it works
Search your trip
Tell us where you're going and when. We search the long-distance operators we cover in a single pass, including the small regional ones the big engines miss.
Compare your options
See the services on your corridor side by side: journey time, indicative fare and what's onboard, from Wi-Fi to luggage allowance.
Book direct
We link you straight to the operator's own booking site. You pay their price. AusBus never adds a booking fee or marks up a fare.
Why we built it
Australia is one of the hardest countries in the world to plan bus travel in. Timetables live on dozens of separate operator websites, regional services rarely show up in the big search engines, and it is genuinely difficult to find out whether you can even get from one town to another without a car.
We built AusBus to fix that: one search across the long-distance operators we can find, from national networks to a single daily run between two country towns. We cover 1127+ stops across 925+ towns and cities, show you the options and indicative fares, then hand you straight to the operator to book, so you always pay the operator's own price. Browse the full route catalogue or every operator we cover.
Questions, corrections or partnerships?
If you run a coach service we are missing, spot an out-of-date fare, or want to work with us, we would love to hear from you.
