Broken Hill to Sydney is a 1,170-kilometre eastbound run across western NSW, through Cobar, Nyngan and Dubbo before joining the Mitchell and Great Western Highways into Sydney. NSW TrainLink runs the corridor as a coach service connecting with the Indian Pacific train at Broken Hill. Coach journey time is around 18 hours. Most travellers riding this corridor are connecting from Adelaide or doing the Outback NSW loop.
