Travel tips
Book directly with Stateliner at stateliner.com.au. Fares are fixed-price (a verified flat-fare model with no advance-purchase discount), so there is no benefit to delaying. Adelaide Central Bus Station on Franklin Street is the southern terminus and is a five-minute walk from Adelaide Railway Station for onward train connections. If you are travelling onwards from Adelaide to Melbourne, you can book that leg separately with Firefly Express or V/Line. There is no scheduled coach service between Adelaide and Perth; that corridor is covered by the Indian Pacific rail service, so treat it as a separate booking. For travellers continuing north of Port Augusta to NT destinations (Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Darwin, Katherine), Greyhound becomes an option again because those journeys cross a state border and the intrastate restriction no longer applies; those tickets are sold under Greyhound's standard interstate fare.
