Travel tips
If you are catching the Spirit of Tasmania, check ferry departure times before booking; Tassielink runs a dedicated coach to East Devonport ferry terminal. Kinetic drops at the Devonport CBD, which is a 20-minute walk or short taxi from the ferry. Book the coach at least three days ahead during peak ferry season (December to March). If you are continuing along the north coast to Burnie or onward to Stanley and the Tarkine, plan your Devonport connection carefully; onward services are limited.
