The route at a glance
The Adelaide–Murray Bridge corridor.
Adelaide to Murray Bridge takes you out of the city, up over the Adelaide Hills on the South Eastern Freeway and down into the Murraylands, covering about 75 kilometres in roughly an hour and a half. LinkSA runs the scheduled service. Murray Bridge sits on the River Murray and is the main service town for the surrounding irrigation and grazing country, as well as the turn-off point for travellers heading further east towards the Coorong and the Victorian border. The return leg carries a lighter commuter load than the morning run into Adelaide, so departures are spread more evenly across the day.
