Mandurah Crab Fest

Crab Fest celebrates Mandurah's famous blue swimmer crabs and is Western Australia's largest free regional event, drawing around 100,000 people to the foreshore over the third weekend of March. Cooking demonstrations, seafood stalls, live music, water shows and fireworks fill two days along the estuary.

What to expect

The blue manna crab is Mandurah's identity, and the festival times itself to the tail of the crabbing season. The foreshore precinct carries everything within an easy walk, and the event's free entry keeps it one of WA's most family-friendly weekends. March on the coast south of Perth is reliably warm and settled.
