Gympie Music Muster

The Gympie Music Muster is one of Australia's largest and best-loved country music festivals, held over the last weekend of August in the Amamoor Creek State Forest, half an hour from Gympie. Started by the Webb Brothers in 1982, it remains volunteer-powered with proceeds going to charity, having raised many millions over its history.
Around 25,000 people camp among the gums for four days of country, roots and bush balladry across multiple stages. The bush setting is the festival's soul: campfires, big skies and music drifting through the forest. Bring full camping kit and be ready for cold nights and warm days.
