The 7 Day Snow Pass is Greyhound's winter-season product for the Snowy Mountains, giving seven days of unlimited travel on the Snow Express between Sydney and Thredbo. It is aimed at travellers basing themselves in Jindabyne or Thredbo for a week and hopping along the corridor, rather than taking a single return trip.

When it saves money
When the 7 Day Snow Pass is worth it.
The pass earns its keep if you make several trips during the week, for example Sydney down to Jindabyne, day trips up to Perisher Skitube and Thredbo, and the return to Sydney. With free ski or snowboard carriage included, it suits a group doing a full week on the snow. Three or more sectors in the seven days will usually beat buying each leg separately.
When to skip it
When this pass is not worth it.
If you are only travelling Sydney to Thredbo and back in the week, two point-to-point tickets are cheaper than the $200 pass. The pass only makes sense once you take three or more sectors, so a single return with no side trips does not reach the break-even point.
Better alternatives
If this pass is not the right fit.
Travelling once each way: book the Sydney ↔ Thredbo legs as individual Greyhound tickets instead. Travelling beyond the Snowy Mountains: the National Whimit or East Coast Whimit covers the wider network. From Canberra only: the shorter Canberra ↔ Jindabyne/Thredbo sectors are inexpensive bought point-to-point.
